Questions & Answers

Honest answers to the questions we hear most often.

Is The Squeeze Project associated with or affiliated with another company?▼
No. The Squeeze Project is a standalone organization. It was created as its own charitable project and is not owned by, operated by, or affiliated with any other company.
Does anyone get paid a salary, fee, or consulting payment before profits are donated?▼
No. No one receives any salary, consulting fee, or compensation of any kind for their work with The Squeeze Project.
How much money will you donate?▼
The honest answer is that we do not know yet. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible for SCOPE, but we are still early in the process and do not want to make promises before we have real results.
If you sell a toy for $10, how much goes to SCOPE?▼

It depends on how the toy is sold, but our goal is always to keep expenses as low as possible so that as much money as we can goes to SCOPE.

Like any organization, we do have some costs — things like the cost to make the product, packaging, shipping, payment processing fees, website costs, and basic administrative expenses. We are committed to keeping those costs to a minimum.

If we sell a toy on our website for $10, we hope that after the product cost and other small expenses, a large portion of that sale will be available to donate. If we sell to a retail store or camp store, the numbers work differently — we may sell at a lower wholesale price, and the store sells to customers at the higher retail price. Because of that, the amount available to donate can vary depending on the sales channel.

What we can promise is this: we are committed to transparency. We plan to publicly share our sales, expenses, and donations so people can clearly see how the money is being used and how much is going to SCOPE.
